Rudolph the Irksome Writer
You know Gelia, and Sandra, and Ron, Kim, and Penny,
Freddie, and June, and Beth, Julie, and Danny,
But do you recall,
The most tedious writer of all?
Rudolph the irksome writer,
Had a very boring prose,
And if you ever read it,
It would surely make you doze.
All of the other writers,
Laughed at everything he wrote,
They wouldn't let poor Rudolph,
Even pen a thank you note.
Then once on a reading day,
Gelia called to say,
Rudolph with your prose so flat,
We need you to fill a gap.
Then how the writers loved him,
And they read in couplet rhyme,
Rudolph the irksome writer,
Saved us in the nick of time.
